Hey everyone, looking forward to the event this Sunday. A friend of mine has shown interest in coming out. In his trunk he has audio equipment wired to a subwoofer box. The box is then screwed into the floor. I am not sure if he would have to remove it since it is screwed to the car. I don't want him to get out there and not be able to compete, so I want to check here first.

I'm not an expert, but as long as everything is FIRMLY attached to the body of the car, there shouldn't be a problem.

The last word will the guys from the tech inspection have, but only lose items have to be removed. As long as everything is firmly bolted to the floor it can stay in the car... Marko

Posed your question to Jamie Bell, one of our tech inspectors. His answer is: "As long as it firmly attached, it is ok. If it screwed to the floor it should be fine."
