23rd Annual ALLIES VS. AXIS Solo is coming
December 5, 2010
South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, GA.
The Allies vs. Axis Dixie Region 2010 Solo Final is held annually the first Sunday in December in commemoration of Pearl Harbor Day, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 and the U.S. officially entered WWII.
Allies vs. Axis allows you to complete in your SCCA Solo class as well as an Allies or Axis vehicle manufacture team:
*Allies Team = American and British vehicles
*Axis Team = German and Japanese vehicles
As was the case during WWII:
*Italian vehicles spend the first half of the event with the Axis and the latter half with the Allies.
*French run with the Axis or the Free French Allies. Take your pick.
*Swedish vehicles, Volvo and Saab, were neutral, of course.

Impossible to call at this early date... I have faith in the Allies and the forces of Goodness and Light... But the Axis seems to grow stronger every year. Thankfully, we have the power of a Wizard on our side, Gandalf Jackson of Middle Earth...
Wait, have I got Allies/Axis confused with Lord of the Rings???
They're so similar, doncha kno...

Speaking of frayed remnants of Lucas, warm beer, and thoroughbred horses that break a leg every time you ride them. Do you still have thet thar E type Jigalator in yer garage?

Should have registration up before the end of next week. Working out some of the details at next Wednesday's Membership Mtg.

Yo, Sanford- Nope, sorry to say... During the recent upheavals in my life, I sold it to a local guy, Glen Sutphin. He's doing a resto on it, bless his l'il heart. Glen's an ol' streetrod guy, does good, meticulous work. I'm sure he'll make it perfect. That was a wonderful ride... It could totally embarrass a hat-backwards, droopy-pants kid in a Honder that wanted to drag race, outcorner a Porsche, and eat most of the internal parts of its distributor, all in one day...
