Hey all, Thanks for your patients so Colin could get in his last runs. I was only a half hour late for work so it wasn't that bad for me. I was in charge so no one to whine at me for being late.
I let Colin dress down for this event as it was hot. He wore a jacket and jeans instead of his driving suit. I was getting the last of the stuff out of the truck today and found that his driving suit wasn't there. I had taken it out and placed it on the ground by my tool box and evedently didn't pick it up. PLEASE if anyone picked it up, let me know and I will figure a way to meet and get it back for him. He will need it for the next Monicello event.
Thanks again, Timmi

Last ones there were Brian, Ian, and Mike. They brought the trailer down to Tally, so it might be in it. Thanks again for letting Eli drive your Kart, and for staying that they could run. Leif will turn 5 on September 2nd, do you think we could get him in that kart as well? Thanks... Marko

That was a sickly fast course. MOAR! Wasn't that awesome??? I know the finishes were difficult to master. In the morning it was hard to go fast and not overcook it, and in the afternoon it was definitely not for the faint of heart. I was flying through the three cone slalom in third gear all out. What a rush... ;D

The second finish was great. I'd get into third coming out of the gate after the C-box and just hold it down and throw the car around the slalom. The morning finish was scary though; I never really took it to the limit. As unpredictable as my car is with all that roll I'll give up a half second to keep from taking out Control, half a dozen cones, etc. ;D

On set up, I got there late and Bryan and Dave M. had put out a lot of cones. What a blast of a course in the afternoon! Sergio, one day I will get you!

It takes time to screw off!!! But then I am thinking of going through Monticello from now on, I got stuck behind a bunch of RV's in T-ville. Plus it is country driving with some lonely roads. Pretty fun, a few miles longer but way more fun and you can make up those miles...

Mike called and he has Colin's suit. we'll have to get together some time and get it back. Mike called the other night and said he was on the way to my house and the right rear wheel locked up on his van. I haven't talked to him since to find out what happened.
Not a problem letting the kids run in the kart. thats what it's there for.. fun and teaching. we can put Leif in the kart any time you feel comfortable. I am hoping for a weekend to be off and go up on Sat. for set up and watch some round track. I think Colin would have a blast. It would also give us a chance to let him test the 60cc. If we could get Lief there then to, he could test in the Coyote. Colin will be turning 8 in Dec on the 21st. after that, he will be in the 60cc. The Coyote will be up for sale.
