Hey guys I am coming down to run the tour next month and was wondering if anyone would recomend against staying at the Family World Motel? Somone up this way (NC) didn't have great things to say about it.

We just stayed there last weekend and it was fine. I think the Atlanta Region has 20 some rooms booked there. I think the manager is even getting them breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean, but there are no frills (I think there wasn't even any shampoo). On the other hand I rather bring my shampoo and have no breakfast if I can save $40 per stay...

That's where I'm staying, too. Closest hotel to the track, about a mile away. Family World is offering a Dixie National Tour/SGMP rate of $38/night single, $44/night double, $49/night triple. I think they have kitchenette units for more.
Can't make reservations online. Have to call them.
