Hello, Im new to this forum and actually just went through with my membership. My name is Joey and I work at Buzz Leonard Subaru in Panama City.
I just got done building a car (Saker) for a SCCA member up north, the car stays down her in the southeast region and will be raced.
The info I am seeking is where can I take this car to get some time on it before driving 5-6 hours to a race and something little ruin our weekend. Im in panama city and wouldnt mind driving 1-2 hours for a nice little place to get some time on the new car and engine. The car is not street legal, so it must be a place that cops will not bother.
Thank you.

The only thing I can suggest it to shake it down at an autocross. The closest to you is Wiregrass Region. www.sccawiregrass.org/

Hi Joey- A Saker, huh? That's a hot-rod, ferr shurr.... What kind of power did you put in it? Subie flat-four?
A Wiregrass Region autocross would be the closest, or a late-night trial run around the dealer's back lot!
Keep us posted, lookin' forward to seeing that Saker!

It's a subaru engine and tranny. Fully built, everything is upgraded. I could say the list but it would be so much to type, haha. Basically, its in the area of 400-500 HP

This section is for welcoming new folks to our group. I'd rather not turn it into "My [Brand Name] is all powerful, anybody that drives [Other Brand] is stupid and his car is junk!" Doesn't sound very "welcoming", now does it? If Joey is a racin' buddy of yours, and you're just talkin' trash, then fine... But for the rest of us, how about putting a smiley or two in there if you're jokin' around, so we know it's all in fun... I'd appreciate it, and probably others would too. Thanks- JD

Has nothing to do about brand names I'm just messing with him I could of put a couple smileys in there but I figured with the specifics of the post everyone would know that I have to be friends or close enough to know about it

Hi- If you two know each other, and you're just BS'ing with a buddy, than all is fine, no harm, no foul. In print, it is not always obvious that you know somebody, or that you're kidding. Humor can get lost real easy in a written environment. The smileys are kind of silly looking, but they do let the world know the intent of your words. OK then... Let's get back to talking about cars... I kinda like Ford Five-Oh's myself... And Jag straight sixes... JDK
