Hello all,
My name is Bryan Singer. I currently live in Pensacola FL (USAF stationed at Pensacola NAS). I am graduating from Navigator school at the end of the month and just found out I am getting assigned to HC-130's at Moody (1st choice!). I have been autoxing for a few years now in my STR 2001 S2000. I have competed for the last year+ in Gulf Coast and Wiregrass regions, previously I live in NJ and ran in South Jersey, Northern NJ, and Philly regions.
I am extremely excited for this assignment. And I look forward to meeting and competing with you all.
My wife Alexa competes as well! Any tips on the area or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Bryan!
Most of us are out of Tallahassee so might not have a lot of tips to offer on the Valdosta area.
The season location will shift to Spence Field in Moultrie so it won't be as convenient as the early events to your new local. Wish we ran the whole year at SGMP but I guess the participation doesn't keep up with the cost.

Well, 54 mins (according to google, so probably faster) is better than I am used to here in Pensacola. Gulf coast region bounces back and forth between locations 1 hour and 1.5hours from me and I also drive the 3 hours up to Dothan AL for Wiregrass region events (which can still happen from Valdosta) when I have the time. So ranging from 15 mins to 1 hour is a marked improvement, also from what I have heard you guys have some great lots.
Some other good info, I do have experience running timing and scoring equipment as well as doing grid, start etc... so I am a versatile worker. I was also an event chair for one of Gulf Coast regions events, so I have some experience with organizing. I have taught at street survival as well as at Gulf Coast region's novice school. So hopefully I can be of some assistance once I get settled in up there.
