I have a friend that I am trying to talk into coming to the events (Porche owner). He is talking about just coming out to watch, but I figure if I can get him to drive, he'll be hooked. If we use one car (mine) and have two drivers then do we both drive in the same heat (due to the car class) and essetially have the car go through twice as many times?
Also, I guess registration is normal for the second driver? Anything else we need to know?
thanks rakessler

You can drive in the same class, with different numbers. Usually one driver just adds a "1" to his/her number (54 and 154) for ease of changing. The car will go through twice, and co-drive cars are usually gridded (is that a word?) up front to get them done in a timely manner. I'm no expert on all the classes, but you might be able to register in two different classes so that one drives in the first group and the other in the second, if you're concerned with running the car too hard.

I saw it on TV so I'm pretty sure I can do it.

At a local event it's a 50/50 chance you'll be in the same run group anyways as there are only 2.

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to tomorrow. Looks like the weather will be great. And hoping to bait my friend into participating...
