I am currently finishing the restoration of a Formcar Mk1 Formula Vee car that at one time was registered in the Dixie Region. It was a barn-find in Virginia, however, the Rollbar/Logbook registration number was 95-017, making it the 17th car to be issued a logbook by the Dixie Region. The car, as found, was an autocross veteran, body color yellow and black,(see attachment), Run Number 15-AM, however, it appears that the original class in which it ran was F-Modified. The Formcar serial number is 63-71 which makes it the 71st car made by Bill Duckworth in 1963. I have no paperwork on the car, no logbook, no original owner's name, race history other than a Cumberland Race Track sticker on the body. The car may have been dual-purpose, road racing and autocrossing, but I have no way of telling. The SCCA decal inside a spoked wheel is vintage to the era of the car. Hopefully one of the Dixie region's members who was active in that time frame, may have a memory of the car, owner's name, address, etc. I would be very grateful for any information that might point me in the right direction to document the car's history. You can reach me at dr.reed@att.net, or call during the day (816) 524-8384 or respond on the forum. Thanks so much! Attachments:

Rob Ippolito: "JK Jackson called Dixie old timer Joe Saterwhite who says the Formula Vee was owned by Jim Kerney or Kearney, a local from Monticello, FL at the time. The Dixie Region log book was issued at Savannah (now Roebling Road) on October 5, 1972. Jim has since passed away. I sent an email to Dr. Reed."
