I have a crx that does not have a front bumper. Are bumpers required if everything up front is secured? I also trying to figure out which class I am in. I have a 88 crx with a b20 swap it has a complete suspension on it swaybars, coil overs, poly bushings, traction bar. It is open header with a 3 ft extension on it. The motor is fully built. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I saw it on TV so I'm pretty sure I can do it.

SMF (Street Modified Front wheel drive.) as for bumper, at the local level cosmetics are overlooked. there is a minimum weight formula for that class, but we can worry about that down the line. The car has to pass tech: all lug nuts, tires safe(no belts showing), not leaking fluids, BATTERY SECURE(most people forget that one first time out), seat belts, nothing loose in cabin, positive throttle return, brake pedal pressure, final say reserved for Safety Steward. What tires are you running?
