In addition to the Dixie trailer loss, Robert Lewis' black singledual axle open car trailer, with 3 aluminum wheels and one steel white spoke wheels, was also stolen and JK's enclosed trailer was vandalized but nothing was missing. All three trailers were stored next to each other in the same lot.

The most distinguishing mark on the trailer is the awning, do you have a picture from that side? Thanks... Marko

I posted it on the Tallahassee Muscle Car Forum.
Might be a good idea to hit all the local forums.
I looked and didn't have any better pics of the trailer. I think I saw one from a distance that showed a bunch of the stuff inside but not much detail I'm afraid.
Maybe they will catch the culprits this time and get it returned.

Sorry to hear about your bad news. I saw it on the South Carolina forum and posted a link to you on our Buccaneer forum as well. www.buccaneerregion.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=581&sid=691e4698c7f3686ad077c06c7ea463b7I know Savannah is a pretty good drive from you but I'll offer the use of our trailer/equipment if you aren't up and running by your first event on Jan 24th. Our first event is not until the week after. We use the older JACircuits timing system but it's compatible with Axware and we have almost 1/2 mile of cable for the timing lights, spare timers, etc. Don Johnson Solo Chair Coastal Empire Solo Club Buccaneer Region SCCA

Tremendous generosity from the South Carolina Region SCCA with a commitment to donate $1000 and two of their old RaceAmerica AC4 timer system base units. This is the same timer system that was stolen from Dixie. In addition SC Region plans to raise additional funds from proceeds at their Solo fun run at Myrtle Beach on Jan 16. Announcement posted by Nick Hallman, SC Region R.E., on their web forum here: www.scsportscar.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=2726&start=0#forumpost22817 By the way, the Dixie Board of Directors is holding a second emergency meeting tomorrow night (12-21-09) to review bids for replacing enough essential equipment to keep our 2010 Solo schedule on track. Rob,
This from RaceAmerica in case you didnlt have this info:
Sorry to hear about theft. We looked up your RaceAmerica Serial numbers to provide you with a bit more information. Our records show two AC4's. The serial numbers are 9414 for the 3800A and AA57 for the 3800B. Hope it helps.
If not recovered please contact us as we may be able to provide a Pre-owned system if it helps.
Regards,

The Dixie Board authorized today the acquisition of replacement essential solo equipment that includes 350 cones, fire extinguishers, timers, a timing printer and miscellaneous items (arm bands, first aid kit, trash bags, etc.). Fortunately our timing laptop and 6 new loaner helmets where not included in the theft. Our delightful registrar/timing chief Tracy Lewis has offered to make replacement worker flags, as she has done before.
This acquisition was made possible in part from the generous $1000 cash and timer head unit donation from the S.C. region, along with smaller anonymous donations, and some savings on hand by the club. We will need to raise more money to replace additional equipment and eventually a vehicle of some sort to store and transport the equipment. The Board is also working on a fundraising campaign for 2010 to get us there.
In the mean time we will have enough equipment to start the 2010 season without delay!
We may have been knocked down but are certainly not out.
Rob

We could start a pool to see how long Urban will coach at, oops, nevermind.
I would suggest a donation jar that I am certain I would drop some cash in at the events I participate in.

So here we are 41 days after our trailer was stolen. A lot has happened over the past month.
Thanks to Russ Clark our replacement timers have been tested and are ready to go. Chris Yearwood ordered our shiny new cones that arrived today. Tracy Lewis and Bryan Batchelor have taken care of all the many other details to assure our next Solo event can happen. Thanks to Marko Horn for loaning us his smaller utility trailer for transport. For our RE Mike Lollar and the Dixie Board who held what seemed like endless meetings and emails over the past month researching and reviewing bids for essential equipment. And thanks to the club members and friends who were in a position to make generous donations over the past month to the equipment fund. Did I forget anyone?
Somehow we have managed to secure just enough replacement equipment to hold this Sunday's Solo on 1-24-10. Being able to keep to our 2010 schedule means a lot to us. Hope you can make it.
